Sharing our Stories

We were approached by a friend from Imaginisce, a local scrapbook manufacturing company, asking if they could help us get the word out about Mothers of Angels. "We are so touched to know that scrapbooking goes beyond collecting supplies, crops and making paper crafts. Our company believes to it's core that scrapbooking is so much more," said Lori Allred, Social Media Coordinator for Imaginisce. As a company they believe, "Helping people remember, focus on, and celebrate what matters most." Lori went on to explain that starting in May, they would like their many fans to help spread the word about Mothers of Angels and if inspired to donate their unused scrapbook supplies to a great cause. So PLEASE visit the our Drop Off Page to find out how you can help.

The primary purpose for sharing our stories, which are very dear to hearts, is in hope that we can help someone who is hurting out there and is looking for a way to survive each day. Our group has found much comfort in turning to each other and preserving those memories that are so dear to our hearts. And you are not alone! We hope that this inspires you to consider using scrapbooking to help find peace. And although our group is in Southern Utah, we hope you might considering starting a group in your area. If you need ideas on how to start, please email me at momof8@beyondbb.com.

  1. I had to compose myself after reading these stories and watching the video. I just cried and cried because unfortnately I know that horrific pain all to well. I lost my only two children (at the time) at the ages of 3 &5 in a car accident. I struggled to go on after that and found alot of sanity in scrapbooking. It was my form of therapy. I get to visit my children in that way and it is also a way to make sure that they are never forgotten. I would love to start a group over here like that. So far I have made things and sold them for charity...donating 100% of the sales to Make a Wish Foundation or St. Jude's hospital for Children. My husband and I have also found comfort in joining Compassionate Friends. It's a wonderful group to belong to. Extremely sad but the people in those groups are truly the only ones that understand the pain you are suffering.
Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful women! I have become a member of your blog and would love to post the story about your blog on mine if you would allow me to.
    Hugs....

  2. I came here from another blog...I watched the video, listened to the song, and read the stories that these corageous women shared. I sobbed, and then cried some more. I was fortunate in the fact that when my son was 14, he attempted suicide, but we "interrupted" him. Thank God...he is alive today. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of that day, or of my Aunt, who lost her 19 year old son to cancer many years ago. I'm glad that you have found not only scrapbooking, but each other to deal with the emotions and memories of your beloved children. God bless you all and may you continue to be strong and find comfort in each other!!! I wish the best for you all. Hugs, Rockin Robin C

  4. Robin...thank you so much for sharing your story. I am so glad that you have your son and you got to him in time. You were given a second chance and I am sure it is because there is a specific mission that only your son can fullfill. The women in our group are incredible and I look forward to you getting to know them more!
